Chicken Hara Bhara Kebab. So, to cheer us up, we decided to make some chicken kebab with lots of herbs and called it Hara Bhara Chicken. 'Hara' in hindi means the color Green and 'Bhara' means whole-sum 🙂 He usually prefers to grill it and that is the kind of cooking he enjoys :), but I wanted to make it easy. Ingredients of Chicken Hara Bhara Kebab
- You need of boiled and shredded chicken🍗.
- You need of Palak blanched.
- Prepare of green peas.
- Prepare of boiled potatoes🥔.
- Prepare of coriander leaves.
- Prepare of mint leaves.
- You need of green chillies.
- You need of ginger garlic paste.
- It's of red chilli powder.
- It's of cumin powder.
- You need of amchur powder.
- Prepare of garam masala powder.
- It's of Bread crumbs for coating.
- You need of Salt.
- Prepare of Some Oil for frying.
You can make the kabab in bulk and freeze them for up to a month. Heat oil in a pan and saute the chicken till pink. Serve with corn on the cob. Hara Bhara Kababs and Other Indian Kababs.
Chicken Hara Bhara Kebab instructions
- Clean, wash and blanch the palak, peas and set aside..
- Boil and mash the potatoes and set aside. Boil and shred the chicken..
- Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic paste and saute for sometime..
- Then add the palak, peas, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies and salt and saute till all the moisture disappears and the mixture becomes dry. Cool the mixture.
- Once the mixture is cooled, grind the mixture into a paste.(the mixture need not be too smooth or too rough).
- Then add this mixture to mashed potatoes and shredded chicken along with all the powdered spices. Mix well..
- Once the mixture is combined well, divide the mixture into equal parts and form into round tikkis or kebabs..
- Then coat the tikkis with breadcrumbs and shallow fry the tikkis till crisp and golden brown..
- Serve the tikkis or kebabs with green chutney or tomato sauce..
- Note: Vegetarians can make this kebabs without the chicken. They can substitute it with paneer.
- The kebab can also be deep fried..
