Moru curry or Curd curry # Morukootaan. Pulissery is a signature Kerala curry made with curd. It is served as the last curry of the Onam Sadhya before serving the pradhaman (desert). - It's of bottle gourd cut into cubes.
- It's of coconut grated.
- You need of curd.
- Prepare of turmeric powder.
- It's of green chillies.
- Prepare of cumin seeds.
- It's of curry leaves.
- You need of Salt.
- Prepare of Water.

Kumbalangha Moru curry onam sadhya puliserry onam dish instructions
- First l have taken an earthen pot. Add ash gourd cut into cubes with turmeric powder,1/2tsp salt,curry leaves and 4_5cups of water when pot is hot..
- When it gets a boil close the lid and cook ash gourd in low to medium flame.Dont close the lid completely as there are chance that it may boil and comes out..
- In a mixer jar grind green chilli,coconut and jeera to fine fine paste with 1/4cup water.I had added11|/2cup water with the mixture to pot.Cook this for few minutes till raw taste of coconut is gone..
- Then add thick curd which is beaten with fork or in mixture jar to this mixture.Check for salt and add salt if needed..
- Switch off flame when it starts to boil..
- For tempering take oil in a pan when it becomes hot lower the flame add mustard seeds and fenugreek..
- After spluttering add red chilli.Saute for a while.Dont brown them.Then add curry leaves and shallots.Fry until shallots are cooked..
- Then switch off flame and add turmeric and chilli powder.Pour this to puliserry in earthern pot.Serve with rice.
