  1. You need 1 box of elbow macaroni.
  2. Prepare of butter.
  3. It's of cheddar cheese.
  4. It's of Italian breadcrumbd.
  5. Prepare of salt.

Baked Macaroni is a pasta dish that makes use of elbow macaroni as the primary ingredient. At first look, this could be mistaken as the famous Macaroni and Cheese but there is more to this dish than just having pasta and cheese.   1. Boil water and cook macaroni to al dente.
  2. Drain water from macaroni and add butter in pot. I don't use measurements I just add as much as I want. The more the better :).
  3. Get a baking pan and add half of the macaroni to the pan then top with a few scoops of butter and scredded cheddar cheese..
  4. Put the rest of the macaroni on top and add more butter and cheddar cheese. Top with Italian breadcrumbs..
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for another 10..
  6. Don't be shy with the butter, cheese and bread crumbs!!!! Lol.
  7. Let cool, add salt to taste and enjoy!!.

In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente. While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Give up the box mix because making Classic Baked Macaroni and Cheese from scratch is easier than you think.
