Microwave Mug Cake. This is my own version of the chocolate microwave mug cake. Chocolate chips make this recipe even better. I remember it being on the back of a Duncan Hines cake mix many years ago.

Ingredients of Microwave Mug Cake
- You need 3 tbsp of plain flour/ whole wheat flour.
- It's 3 tbsp of powdered sugar.
- It's 2 tbsp of cocoa powder.
- Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder.
- You need Pinch of salt.
- You need 3 tbsp of milk.
- Prepare 3 tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
- You need 1 teaspoon of chocolate chips (optional).
When you want something for dessert that's more than a chocolate bar or ice cream, but still easy enough to make that you can eat it ASAP, mug cakes are your friends. Just because these desserts are made in a microwave, it doesn't mean the cakes can't be made from scratch and taste good. Cake mix in a mug that can be made in the microwave. Use any flavor of cake mix and corresponding flavor of pudding mix.
Microwave Mug Cake instructions
- Take a mug and put everything in the mug. Mix it well with the help of a whisk. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top. Alternatively everything can be mixed in a bowl and then added into a mug. Microwave it on high for 2 minutes..
- Take it out and let the mug rest for another 2 minutes..
- Mug cake is ready to serve..
For the glaze, Use a corresponding flavor of powdered mix, such as lemonade for lemon, cocoa for chocolate, etcetera. Carefully remove from microwave and enjoy! Please note that ALL microwaves are different therefore can yield different results and can overcook this mug cake if you aren't careful. I never, ever post recipes like this which I have not made, and I'm not a microwave fan, but this one, for parents of the above-mentioned people, just has to be posted.
