Vegan sticky toffee pudding instructions

  1. Add dates to water to soak.
  2. Preheat oven to 180deg celcius.
  3. Cream together the marg, sugar and vanilla.
  4. Add bicarb and then lemon and mix well.
  5. Add flour and milk a little at a time.
  6. Add date mixture and mix well.
  7. Pour into a greased dish and pop in the oven for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Make sauce while cakes in the oven by adding everything to a pot and cooking down as much as possible.
  9. Once cakes done let it cool a bit and then poke holes in it.
  10. Pour sauce over cake...keep a little sauce for serving.
