Methi Chicken aka Methi Murg is one my favorite Indian chicken curries. It is prepared my cooking tender chicken pieces with assorted spices and fresh fenugreek leaves. Since the curry uses fresh cream for its preparation, it is also called Methi Chicken Malai. It is mildly spicy and the flavor and aroma will win you over.
Methi Malai Chicken Lasgane step by step
- Heat a pan. To this add oil and butter..
- Add chopped onion.and and saute for few minutes.
- Now add ginger garlic paste and dried masala and cook for few minutes.
- Add tomato puree and cook for few minutes..
- Now add chicken mince and cook for few minutes..
- Then squeeze water from methi leaves to remove bitterness and.add to.chicken.Add salt and cook for few more minutes.
- Now mix curd and cream in a bowl.Add this to chicken. Cook for couple of minutes and switch off flame.
- Now grease a baking dish..
- Mix all the three cheese in a plate..
- In baking dish spread lasagne sheet.Spread cheee all over Lasgane sheet.Top this with chicken.and methi mixture..
- Alternatively layer lasagne sheet,cheese.and chicken methi mixture.Top this with remaining cheese..
- Bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degree for 15 mins then at 200 degree for another 5-7 mins till cheese starts bubbling on top..
- Serve hot..
